Once a route has been created, either automatically by the system or manually by your WMS or you, you have the ability to review, update, or delete it as needed. This article explains how to edit and delete existing routes. For instructions on creating routes manually, see the Creating a Route support article.
🔍 Accessing a Route
To edit or delete a route:
- Navigate to the page where the route is listed (for example, the Route Archive or Route Plans page).
- Click on the Route Name to open the route details.
- Select Edit Route to make changes:

After clicking Edit Route, you can update the following route details:
- Route Name – Modify the name to the correct one (if needed).
- Vehicle – Select a different vehicle if the route was assigned incorrectly.
- Route Start Date & Time – Update when the route began.
- End Date & Time – Update when the route ended (if applicable).
- Product Temperatures – Adjust the temperature thresholds for each product on the route.
Once all changes are made, click Update Route to apply the updates:
💡 Tip: Be mindful when updating times and vehicles, as incorrect values may prevent the route from linking correctly to telemetry data or route plans.

🗑️ Deleting a Route
If a route was created in error or is no longer needed, it can be deleted from the same Edit Route screen.
To delete a route:
- Open the route.
- Click Edit Route.

Select Delete Route:
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Once deleted, the route will no longer appear in route lists or reports.
