This article explains how to access and review the Root Cause Violations Report in veroFresh™. This report provides an overview of Root Cause Analysis results and displays a chart showing the percentage of identified root causes for violating routes.
You can analyze data for a specific time period and optionally compare it with a previous period to identify trends, improvements, or recurring issues.
How to Check the Root Cause Violations Report
Step 1: Go to Reports
In veroFresh™, click Reports on the left-hand side of your screen, then select Root Cause Violations Report.
Step 2: Choose a Date Range
Select the Date Range you want to review. Available options include:
Today
Yesterday
Last 7 Days
Last 30 Days
Month to Date
Previous Month
Year to Date
Previous Year
You can also select a custom date range using the date picker.
Step 3: Select a Comparison Date
Choose the Date Range you want to use for comparison. Available options include:
Today
Yesterday
Last 7 Days
Last 30 Days
Month to Date
Previous Month
Year to Date
Previous Year
Once you’ve chosen the desired date range, click Run Report.
Why Are There Two Date Options?
The report includes two date selections to help you analyze trends and performance over time:
Date Range – This is the current or primary period you want to review.
Comparison Date – This is a previous period used to compare results against the primary date range.
By using both options, you can:
Identify increases or decreases in specific root causes
Measure improvement after process changes
Spot recurring issues across different time periods
Evaluate operational performance over time
For example, you can compare Last 7 Days against the Previous 7 Days to see whether violations related to reefer issues have improved or worsened.
Step 4: View the Report
After running the report, you’ll be directed to a page displaying a pie chart and the following details:

Route Violations
Violating
Non-Violating
-
Root Causes (this may differ for customer, so you might not see all the ones listed below)
Bulkhead and/or doors not properly utilized
Incorrect set point
Pre-cool
Profile product not on load
Reefer malfunction
Reefer turned off
Other
Comparison Date
This report cannot be downloaded but you can saved it by clicking the star icon in the upper-right corner. Once saved, the report will appear under your Recent Reports.
If you want to view the report again, simply click the eye icon under Actions. To delete the report, click the delete icon under Actions.
